Booking and Payment Information

All bookings are subject to our terms and conditions.

To secure your holiday dates, we require a non-refundable deposit of £100. The full balance is then due a minimum of 8 weeks before your break.

When you pay the balance, we also need a security bond payment of £100 to cover the cost of any accidental damages; this can be in the form of a cheque which we would return to you un-cashed after your break once Butlins staff have inspected the caravan to our satisfaction.

By booking with us you are agreeing that we may cash the security bond cheque to cover the cost of any damages caused, if you were to cancel the cheque before we do so then we would have to present the cheque to the small claims court and start proceedings against you to recover all costs.

If you need to cancel your holiday in the 8 week period before your break the balance would only be partly refundable on a sliding scale as follows:

Week 8 -80% Week 7 - 70% Week 6 - 60% Week 5 - 50%
Week 4 - 40% Week 3 - 30% Week 2 - 20% Week 1 - 10%

We suggest you take out Holiday Insurance to cover this and any other unexpected eventualities.

On Your Arrival and Departure

Once we have received your full payment we will forward your booking details to Butlins. They will then prepare a welcome pack for your arrival which will include an entertainment guide, map of the site, entertainment passes where necessary and of course the keys to your holiday home.

Please remember to take the pink copies of your booking form with you to present to staff in the caravan booking reception at Butlins Main Entrance, this is your proof of booking.

Check-in time is 4.00pm but you may enter the Butlins site from 12.00 mid-day and use all their facilities while you wait. On departure day, guests must vacate the caravan by 10.00am so that the cleaners may enter. Keys must be returned to the EAST GATE or MAIN ENTRANCE reception as you leave the site.

What You Should Bring

You will need to take: quilt covers, bottom sheets and pillow cases for all beds that will be used. Quilts and pillows are provided- we have one double bed, four single beds and a sofa bed in the living room which is slightly smaller than a double bed. There is a large storage area under the double bed where you will find the spare quilt and pillows for the sofa bed and also a double and single airbed and footpump just in case these are preferable to the sofa bed. Under one of the single beds you will find a bed guard to keep your child safely in bed if necessary.

You will need to take your own towels including tea-towels. Don’t forget toilet rolls too, you don’t want to get caught short.

The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need including a large upright fridge/freezer. No food is supplied, however. There are supermarkets just off site and shops on site too. If you wanted to add a Butlins Dining Plan to your break you can do this at extra cost by phoning Butlins Guest Services on: 01643 700630 In the kitchen end cupboard you will find children’s plastic cups and plates etc and a portable high chair which can be strapped to a chair by the dining table.

Concerning Pets and Smoking

STRICTLY NO PETS/ANIMALS are allowed in the caravan as some of our guests may have allergies, if anyone disregards this they would have to leave immediately and would forfeit any monies paid, they would also have to pay for a deep clean of the caravan to make it safe for future guests (this may seem harsh but pet hairs can have a serious effect on some people)

SMOKING IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in the caravan for the same reason as above. It is also illegal to smoke in the van as this is classified as a public place!
